Augusta, GA – Julian Osbon, CEO of Xytex International, announced today that Michael J. Parish, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Xytex International, has been promoted to Senior Vice President and CFO of the organization.
Parish joined the company in 2002 and is responsible for all corporate finance matters including financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, financial operations, divisional finance, internal audit, and international finance. Along with providing the vision and leadership for developing and implementing information technology initiatives in alignment with Xytex’s business strategy, he has overall responsibility for the planning, delivery, and maintenance of cost-effective technology solutions needed to support Xytex’s various business groups.
Previously, Parish was Finance Director at the Georgia Department of Technical and Adult Education, Director of Finance at Augusta Regional Airport and Controller/Human Resources Director for Progress Rail Company’s Augusta Division. He is a Certified Professional Manager by the Institute of Professional Managers at James Madison University and is a Certified State Financial Manager by the University of Georgia’s Carl Vinson Institute of Government. He has earned the Certified Management Accountant designation from The Institute of Management Accountants.
