Karow Named Chief Communications Officer at Xytex International

Augusta, GA – Christopher Karow was recently named Chief Communications Officer at Xytex International.

Karow will be responsible for developing new business plans for tissue storage and cryopreservation in emerging markets for the U.S. and internationally, as well as reporting communications to shareholders, employees, future business partners and the public.

Karow is a Lance Corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps, and has 22 years’ experience in marketing and communications. He is a former copywriter, editor and media buyer for Davis Newman Payne in Knoxville, Tenn., and a marketing program director for the Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta, Ga. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Georgia and an Associate of Arts in Urban Studies and Business from Georgia State University.

He also serves on the Board of Directors for Xytex International and is the son of Xytex founder Dr. Armand M. Karow Jr.
